- Terms and Conditions (Terms of Use)
These Terms govern your use of the Azusa Hotel website and bookings made through it. By accessing the website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies published here. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Azusa Hotel. We aim to ensure information on this site is accurate, but we cannot guarantee that descriptions, prices, or availability will always be errorfree. We reserve the right to modify the website and terms at any time without prior notice.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
Guests are entitled to cancel confirmed bookings within the time-frame specified at the time of booking for full or partial refunds. For example: cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival may be eligible for a refund, minus an administrative fee, while cancellations within 21 days of arrival may not be refundable. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable period after confirmation of cancellation. Noshows will be charged the full booking amount. During peak seasons and public holidays, stricter cancellation rules may apply.
- Reservation and Booking Policy
All reservations must be made via our official website or by email to reservations@azusahotelandapartments.com . Checkin time is from 2:00 PM, and checkout time is by 12:00 PM unless otherwise agreed in writing. Guests must present valid governmentissued identification at checkin. The minimum age for booking a room is 18 years. We accept major credit cards and electronic payments; deposits may be required to secure reservations.
5.Early Check In and Late Check Out Policy
Early check in and late check out requests at Azusa Hotel are subject to room availability and must be approved by the hotel, either in advance or at the front desk. Early Check In Standard check in time is 2:00 PM. Early check in before this time is subject to availability. Requests made before 10:00 AM may attract an additional fee. Complimentary early check in may be granted at the hotel’s discretion when rooms are available. Early check in cannot be guaranteed without prior confirmation from the hotel. Late Check Out Standard check out time is 11:00 AM. Late check out requests are subject to availability. Check out between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM may attract an additional fee. Check out after 2:00 PM may be charged as an additional night. Complimentary late check out may be offered at the hotel’s discretion. Important Notes Early check in and late check out fees vary by room category and season. Approval of early check in or late check out does not guarantee extended access to hotel facilities beyond the confirmed time. Guests who remain in the room beyond the approved check out time without prior notice may incur additional charges. Azusa Hotel reserves the right to amend this policy based on occupancy levels and operational requirements.
- Payment and Pricing Policy
All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards and online payment links. Preauthorisations or deposits may be taken at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Any incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled prior to checkout.
- NoShow Policy
A reservation is considered a noshow if the guest does not check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice. In such cases, the full cost of the booking will be charged. Rooms will be held until the end of the first night, after which they may be released.
- House Rules / Guest Conduct Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor guest areas. Guests should respect quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all. Parties, excessive noise, and disruptive behaviour are not permitted; violations may result in removal from the property without refund. Pets are not allowed on the premises except with prior written approval. Use of hotel facilities is at the guest’s risk and in accordance with the posted rules.
- Damage and Loss Policy
Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or destruction caused by negligence or misuse of hotel property during their stay. Charges for damaged or missing items will be applied at the replacement cost plus handling fees. Lost and found items left behind are held for a limited period and, if unclaimed, may be donated or disposed.
10. Children and Extra Bed Policy
Children’s ages are defined as follows: Infants (0–2 years) stay free; toddlers (3–5 years) and children (6–17 years) may incur charges depending on room configuration. Extra beds and cribs are available upon request and subject to availability and additional charges. Children under a specified age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Health, Safety & Security Policy
CCTV operates in all communal areas for the safety of guests and staff. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings; the hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage unless due to proven negligence by staff. In case of an emergency, guests must follow instructions from hotel personnel.
- Event and Group Booking Policy
Group bookings or events may require a special deposit and must be confirmed in writing. Changes and cancellations must be communicated within specified timelines to avoid penalties. The hotel reserves the right to charge for any damage caused during events.
- Food and Beverage Policy
Outside food and beverages are generally not permitted on the property. Corkage fees may apply for approved external items. Special diet requests should be communicated in advance, but the hotel does not guarantee availability of specific ingredients. The hotel will not be held liable for any health or related that arise from food not bought from outside the hotel. Cooking is only allowed in rooms where a cooking unit is provided. Where a guest comes in food & drinks , we require that the customer service be notified. The hotel has a restaurant that offers food and drinks as stated in the menu provided. Special diet request should be communicated in advance but the hotel doesn’t guarantee availability of specific items.

- Force Majeure Policy
In the event of circumstances beyond our control such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other emergencies, the hotel may be unable to fulfil reservations under normal terms. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate guests and may offer alternatives or refunds where applicable.
- Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy
If you have a concern during your stay, please notify Reception or Guest Services immediately so we can address it promptly. For unresolved issues, written complaints should be submitted within a specified period after departure. Disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and our internal review procedures.
- Identification and Security Deposit Policy
All guests are required to present a valid government issued identification at check in. Azusa Hotel may request a refundable security deposit at check in to cover
incidental charges, damages, or violations of hotel policies. The deposit will be refunded after check out, subject to room inspection. The hotel reserves the right to deduct charges for damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning.
- Overbooking and Relocation Policy
In the rare event that Azusa Hotel is unable to honour a confirmed reservation due to overbooking or unforeseen circumstances, the hotel reserves the right to relocate the guest to a comparable or higher standard accommodation at no additional cost. Any difference in room rate will be covered by the hotel, and refunds will be issued where applicable.
- Room Occupancy and Visitor Policy
Each room category has a maximum occupancy limit of 2 people which must be observed at all times. Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Visitors are allowed only in designated areas and during approved hours. Additional charges may apply for extra occupants. The hotel reserves the right to deny access or terminate stays where occupancy rules are violated.
- Smoking and Substance Use Policy
Azusa Hotel operates a non smoking policy within all indoor areas and guest rooms. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Guests found smoking in non smoking rooms will be charged a cleaning and restoration fee. The possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
- WiFi and Internet Usage Policy
Complimentary Wi Fi is provided for guest convenience. While we strive to ensure reliable service, Azusa Hotel does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity and is not liable for service interruptions or data loss. Internet access must be used responsibly and for lawful purposes only.
- Photography and Media Policy
Personal photography for private use is permitted within the hotel. Professional photography, videography, or commercial content creation requires prior written approval from management. Guests must respect the privacy of other guests and staff at all times. The hotel reserves the right to restrict filming activities on its premises.
- Refund Exceptions and Non RefundableRates Policy
Certain promotional rates, discounted offers, and special packages are non refundable and non transferable. These conditions will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Refund requests outside standard cancellation terms will be reviewed at the hotel’s discretion.
